Bad eggs takes over Jim Thorpe

Bad eggs takes over Jim Thorpe

by reporter Gabbie Binder

Walk into any Jim Thorpe classroom during downtime that has computers and you are almost guaranteed to see at least one guy, if not more, playing the computer game “Bad Eggs.” The game seems to be everywhere. Even if they do not have access to a computer, there is conveniently an app for the game on any smartphone.

Senior James Marks enjoys the game because of being able to compete against his friends.

The game itself is fairly simple, playing as an egg, and competing against other real life people who are also eggs. The option of choosing different weapons that do different levels of damage to fight off the opponent is available. There are more advanced weapon packages that are available to be purchased, those who are really into the game take advantage of this. Not only are guys spending their time on this game, they are also spending their money. That is dedication!

Two senior boys were asked why they like the game so much, they responded with the following:

Brett Luicana stated, “When I have nothing better to do, I play bad eggs.”

Matt Dreher replied, “My life would be meaningless otherwise.”

One can see bad eggs is a big part of everyday student life at Jim Thorpe High School, especially if you are a senior guy who finished his class work early.
