If you’re wondering to know more about Shawn Stubaus, you came to the right place! Shawn Stubaus is an 11th grader at Jim Thorpe Area High School, and will graduate in 2018. Shawn was born August 21st, 2000 in a little town called Keansburg. At ten years old, Shawn and her family moved out of New Jersey and moved to Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania.

             Shawn has many hobbies, but her most favorite is reading and writing. Shawn realized she liked to write when she was 13; her oldest brother Andrew got her into it. Shawn took a class called creative writing and it helped Shawn to get better at writing and going into other genres, like horror, drama, and many more.

             Shawn has many goals in her life. One of them is to have a book published that she wrote. For her future job, Shawn would love to be a known writer, but if that doesn’t work out, she wants to be in law enforcement. One of her goals she accomplished was being in Jim Thorpe’s Flame, which is filled with short stories, poems, and much more. For now Shawn is still writing and reading. But she hopes one day that could be her job.
