Homecoming, held on October 4, 2014, was a big turn out this year. Students from ninth to twelfth grade showed up and had a good time.

The homecoming king and queen nominations were Devon Matz, Ryan Carrol, Lindsay Capper, Josiah Barrens, Anna Beard, Dominic Pompa, Anna Fiducia, Anthony Shorton, Gianna Bucci, Nathan Fields, Riley Carrol, and Jake Saxon. The homecoming king was Josiah Barrens and the homecoming queen was Anna Fiducia.

“It felt good,” Anna Fiducia, homecoming queen, said about winning the election.

“It was an honor to be nominated in the running of homecoming king,” Ryan Carrol stated.

There were many thoughts on homecoming this year but it varies by the person and his or her idea of fun.

“I thought homecoming was wild.  It was a great moment of my life,” David Marino, a sophomore, said.

Some may say they had a great time and others may have had an awful time so a question was asked what would make homecoming better in the years to come.

“There needs to be more lights, a greater variety of food, and less Spanish music,” Paige Pfeifer, sophomore, said.

After taking the win over Panther Valley for the homecoming game, students were ready to take on Homecoming 2014.
