New Year Resolutions by Makenna, Reporter

Whenever a new year begins each January, some people scramble to gather ideas for a New Year’s Resolution. Some people stick to them, some people do not. Some people think they are the perfect way to start off the New Year, and others think it is just a waste of time.

Junior, Grace Kenna thinks that New Year’s resolutions can be a good idea; that is if you actually stick to it. Kenna says that she was never really interested in keeping any of her past resolutions.  One of Kenna’s New Year’s resolutions is to workout often and attempt to stay positive.

“You just have to try and you can accomplish anything,” Kenna stated.

Personally, I think that New Year’s Resolutions are a great way to start the year, and they are something to keep people motivated on becoming better people. There is nothing wrong with making some improvements. Who knows, one of your New Year’s resolutions could end up making 2017 the perfect year!

“New Year’s resolutions are fun to do and could work, but most people don’t stick to them, including me,” junior, Sam Ahner included.

Junior, Cassity Dixon thinks that New Year’s resolutions are a waste of time. Dixon has made resolutions before, but she has never stuck to them. She did not make any this year.

“I’ve never stuck to them before, so why have hope this year?” Dixon laughed.
