by Jayden Rodgers, reporter

Every school around the world has high school relationships. Most likely, they are not the fairy tale many people expect them to be. People have different perspectives and feelings about the word “love.” Different people have different views on their feelings about relationships or commitments to another person. Some people may think that love is an intense feeling of deep affection. Then, there may be some people who not want to know the feeling love, because they may not want to be deeply affected by it.

We all fall in love, fall out of it, and cherish the moments that we have with that someone in high school experiences. It is an experience we all share to feel some type of way before the real world comes in. We all have different experiences with people in high school. It is great to have someone special to always depend on to be there through the good times, the bad times, and the times when a shoulder  is needed to cry on.

According to, Haley Louden, a freshman at JTHS, “In my opinion, love is like a box of chocolates, you get sick of it after a while!”

Why do some people hate relationships? It may be because of the anxiety, or stress, because many people think it is a lot of work. Being loved can express sadness and painful feelings from the past.

Jakob Shellhammer, a freshman at JTHS said, “Love is one of life’s greatest mysteries, and is made to find later in life.

In reality, most people accept relationships because they want to feel some type of way. Then, there are some that do not want to accept it because of reasons that cannot be expressed on paper.
