Zaquira Cartagena was born on July 18, 1999, in Bronx, New York. She lives with her mother and sister in Albrightsville, PA. After high school,  she plans to become an author, and maybe a music producer and singer/songwriter for her love of music. Her goal is to have at least one novel published. This has been her passion since young, writing from sixth grade to now twelfth grade.

In her free time, Cartagena loves to listen to music, write and read books, and play video games. It doesn’t matter what kind of music she listens to. Her diversity in music extends to her writing whether it’s a song, story, or poem. She loves to try new things and is very creative with whatever she does. She doesn’t like to stick to one thing because she thinks it’ll get boring.
