Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho album review

The release date for Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho was December 21, 2017, by Capitol Records. Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho is the debut album by American hip hop/rap super group Huncho Jack, which consists of Travis Scott and Quavo. The album features guest artist from fellow music group Migos such as Offset and Takeoff. There are thirteen songs in the album. The total length of the album is forty-one minutes and thirty-four seconds. The genre of the album is hip-hop/rap.

Monae Bullock, a senior at JTHS, said, “I like the album. My favorite song in the album is “Black and Chinese.” I like the diversity in this song. The album is very creative and lit. It really proves the duo’s strength is entertainment on cruise control.”

Quavo and Travis Scott have linked up in the past making songs such as “Oh My Dis Side” and “Pick Up the Phone.” They’ve spent years slowly crafting winning harmony. Quavo and Scott seem like a perfect pair. That is why they got together to create their new debut album. The two connect in ways that make it clear why they are at the top of their game.

Max Schlenner, a Junior at JTHS, said, “My favorite song in the album is the opening track “Modern Slavery.” I like Quavo’s verse the best because of his particular lyrics. I also like the song “Motorcycle Patches.”  The song is a little more up-tempo which forces Quavo and Travis Scott to rap more.”

Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho succeeds to show the abilities of both artists with a very dimensional project. This album is on a fairly good path to success. The album is charted at number three on the U.S. Billboard 200. This is Scott’s third album to reach the top ten, and Quavo’s first. It has also received generally positive reviews from critics.
